Ted’s Montana Grill will open its second Connecticut location next year on downtown Hartford’s Front Street, a principal with HB Nitkin confirmed this morning.
Ted’s, which has a South Windsor location, adds to an expanding list of tenants on Front Street, where HB Nitkin has development rights to all parcels between the riverfront and downtown’s eastern edge.
Peter Christian, director of development and acquisitions for Greenwich-based HB Nitkin, said in an email that he expects the restaurant to be open in the first quarter of 2014.
Norfolk’s Infinity Hall broke ground in March on a 600-seat theater on Front Street, joining Spotlight Theatres, which opened late last year. Restaurant chain Capital Grille has also signed a lease at Front Street.
And HB Nitkin disclosed in June that the former Hartford Times building is a finalist for a UConn satellite campus.
