Alexandra Litor, 32, is more than just a Fresh Face. She’s a fresh French face in West Hartford Center, where she is known for selling fresh croissants and other bakery items at the store she co-owns with her husband, Romeo Litor. The shop — La Petite France – is the second for the duo. The other is in Stafford Springs.
Litor, a native of Paris who discovered Connecticut when she came to the University of Connecticut to earn her MBA, is the business brains behind the business while her husband works his wizardry in the kitchen.
She enjoys the greenery and slower-paced, less-stressed life she discovered in Connecticut. “It’s horrible how people are over there [Paris]. People are more friendly here, but I miss the shopping,” Litor said.
