A California-based insurance company has expanded its franchise program into Connecticut with the opening of a new location in Danbury.
Confie, which distributes auto and personal lines of insurance, announced Thursday that its franchise program, called Freeway Insurance, now operates in 28 states with the addition of the location at 4 Liberty St.
Freeway also recently opened franchises in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois and Tennessee, with further expansion underway in other states.
Freeway’s standard franchise fee is $25,000, with a discounted rate of $15,000 for honorably discharged veterans.
“Freeway franchisees are thriving because they’re delivering essential services to their communities,” said Alex Trachtman, senior vice president of franchise sales and operations. “Our model stands out for its affordability, comprehensive training and ongoing support. We’re removing barriers to business ownership while helping franchisees grow with confidence.”
