Connecticut’s second Free People women’s fashion boutique has opened in Westfarms mall, four years after the first debuted in Greenwich.
The store on the mall’s upper level near Nordstrom opened Friday, according to the mall that straddles the West Hartford/Farmington border.
Its boho-vintage apparel appeals to mid- to late-20-something women and includes footwear, outerwear, handbags, jewelry, accessories and specialty gifts.
Connecticut’s first Free People store opened at 351 Greenwich Ave. in 2007.
Westfarms General Manager Kevin Keenan said Free People is among the 25,000 square feet of newly released retail space opening later this year in Westfarms.
