Foxwoods said its October slot-machine revenue dipped 5.6 percent, while Mohegan said its slots revenue was essentially flat.
Foxwoods took in $39.7 million during the month, down from $42.1 million in Oct. 2013. Its handle was down less than 1 percent, at $477.2 million.
Mohegan Sun reported October slots revenue of $48.9 million, down about $97,000, despite its handle falling nearly $11 million, to $581.9 million.
The two casinos’ combined monthly contribution to the state’s general fund is $22.4 million, down from $22.7 million a year ago.
