Foxwoods Resort Casino has reported a 6.4 percent decline in slot revenue for the month of December.
Foxwoods’ December slot revenue slid to $35.3 million compared to $37.7 million in the year-ago period. The handle for the month stayed about the same, at $465.7 million,compared to $466 million wagered in the same month a year ago.
Last month, the casino also contributed $9.4 million to Connecticut’s special revenue fund, bringing its contribution since the casino opened in 1992 to more than $3.9 billion.
