Foxwoods names Season 23 ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ winner as executive chef at HK restaurant

Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket said Thursday that the Season 23 winner of the Fox television reality show “Hell’s Kitchen” has been appointed executive chef of its Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen restaurant.

Kyle Timpson, 29, of Dennis Township in New Jersey, will lead the restaurant’s kitchen beginning May 1, Foxwoods officials said.

“I am humbled to start as executive chef at Hell’s Kitchen at Foxwoods,” Timpson said. “To be stepping into this role at the venue I gave everything I had to win is absolutely surreal. Foxwoods already feels like home.”

Timpson’s appointment represents the first time in the show’s history that a winner has been named executive chef at the property where the season in which they won was filmed.

Known for his creative, high-energy approach, Timpson has a decade of experience from acclaimed kitchens in Philadelphia and the Jersey Shore.

“Kyle earned this opportunity through sheer grit, passion, and undeniable talent,” said Chef Gordon Ramsay. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to officially welcome him to Hell’s Kitchen at Foxwoods.”

Gordon Ramsey Hell’s Kitchen opened at Foxwoods in July 2023. Inspired by the TV show, it features an open kitchen in an upscale dining atmosphere.
