After less than six months on the job, Todd Greenberg, Foxwoods Resort Casino senior vice president, has been promoted to chief operating officer at the casino’s tribal owner.
Greenberg was introduced Tuesday as the COO of the Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprises, the organization that runs all the gaming activities for the Mashantucket Pequots Native American tribe of eastern Connecticut.
Greenberg joined Foxwoods in March as senior vice president, coming aboard with 15 years experience as a gaming executive for Tropicana Entertainment, Ameristar Casinos, Wynn Design and Development and Mirage Resorts.
In his new role, Greenberg will work the Foxwoods executive team — notably CEO Scott Butera — to develop strategies for all MPGE operations.
