A NASCAR Cup Series race in New Hampshire has been named after Foxwoods Resort Casino, officials announced Thursday.
Foxwoods recently inked a multi-year partnership with New Hampshire Motor Speedway, which will name its July 22 NASCAR race the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301.
The New England partners announced the sponsorship on Thursday at Foxwoods alongside 2014 series champion Kevin Harvick.
“This is just the beginning of a wonderful new partnership with the region’s most popular destination resort,” said David McGrath, executive vice president and general manager of New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Foxwoods and officials from New Hampshire’s motor speedway began the partnership in 2017 through a ticket incentive program, which continues this year.
