Foxwoods Resort Casino said it’s slot revenue increased in April while the total amount slot bettors wagered took a slight dip.
The casino, operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, reported $41.2 million in slot revenues last month, up 3 percent from $40 million recorded in the year-ago period.
The amount slot bettors wagered in April, known as the “handle,” was $503.7 million, a decrease of 1.3 percent from the $510.5 million wagered in April 2017.
Foxwoods said it contributed $10.5 million to the state in April.
