The Shops at Farmington Valley is adding four new restaurants to its lineup.
Shake Shack, Ramen & Bao and Wonder have signed on to open at the Canton shopping center in 2026, while the national Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant brand CAVA has agreed to open in 2027.
Shake Shack, expected to open in July, is known for its custard milkshakes and burger-focused menu including all-natural Angus beef and Vienna beef hot dogs.
Ramen & Bao, opening its third Connecticut location, specializes in house-made bao and Asian small plates, including Taiwanese fried chicken and scallion pancakes.
Meantime, Wonder offers steakhouse-style entrées alongside kids’ comfort food and other options.
Elizabeth Ackerman, general manager of The Shops at Farmington Valley, said the additions reflect broader changes in the Farmington Valley community.
“The Farmington Valley has seen a remarkable surge in new homeowners and rising residential values,” Ackerman said. “What we’re building here is very much a reflection of that evolution.”
Other recent openings include FP Movement, Warby Parker and Blo Blow Dry Bar.
CAVA also has Connecticut locations in Shelton, Greenwich, Newington, Danbury and Westport. It’s also
developing a restaurant in Glastonbury.
