FOUNDATION HELPS SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF

The People’s United Community Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to the West Hartford-based American School for the Deaf’s (ASD) Early Childhood Intervention Program. This program provides the foundation for young deaf and hard-of-hearing children, from birth to three, to acquire language, develop cognition, and prepare for successful formal schooling.
