Ryan Bingham, the former mayor of Torrington, will join the lobbying team of Sullivan & LeShane Inc. Nov. 28.
After serving for eight years as Torrington’s mayor, Bingham has most recently served as a division director at Winters Bros. in Danbury, and while he was mayor he also served as president of the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities.
Bingham brings to the Sullivan & LeShane team extensive experience in working at both the municipal and state government levels.
While mayor of Torrington from 2005 to 2013, Bingham served as both CEO and CFO of the largest city in Litchfield County, managing an annual budget of $117 million, initiating numerous capital improvement and revitalization projects and adding new businesses and private sector jobs to the city.
Bingham lives in Torrington with his wife and two children.
