Former Sox manager’s restaurant opens in Windsor Locks

Bobby V’s Restaurant and Sports Bar, named for former Red Sox manager and Stamford native Bobby Valentine, has opened in Windsor Locks, his partner Sportech Venues announced.

The 300-seat venue features 70 television screens, including a 17-foot screen. The restaurant was built inside the Bradley Teletheater, which adjacent to Bradley International airport and is a part of Sportech’s chain of off-track betting facilities across Connecticut.

Sportech said it recently invested $10 million in renovations at the 15 facilities.
