Tom Hutton, a former vice president at Pratt & Whitney, on Monday was appointed the chief executive officer of Kansas City, Mo. aerospace repair shop PAS Technologies Inc.
Hutton spent 25 years with East Hartford aerospace manufacturer Pratt & Whitney and Stratford helicopter manufacturer Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., both subsidiaries of Hartford-based United Technologies Corp. Hutton’s first 19 years were in various engineering and management rolls before becoming vice president of Pratt’s Global Service Partners, overseeing the company’s engine, repair, maintenance and overhaul operations.
PAS specializes in component repair for aerospace, defense, industrial and oil and gas customers.
In addition to becoming CEO at PAS, Hutton joins the company’s board of directors and executive committee.
