Former Patient Receives Volunteer Of The Year Award

Hospital for Special Care and McCue Mortgage, both in New Britain, honored Dorothy Kijewski with the M. Gertrude McCue Volunteer-of-the-Year Award. Kijewski, a New Britain resident and former patient at the hospital, was cited for her dedication to volunteering five days a week at the Outpatient Rehabilitation Center where she herself once recovered.
