Former longtime Republican state legislator Lawrence F. Cafero Jr. has landed a job as head of an industry association that represents wine and spirits wholesalers.
The Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of Connecticut announced Monday that Cafero — who did not seek reelection last year after 11 terms — would become its executive director and general counsel effective July 1.
Cafero was most recently a partner at Hartford law firm Brown Rudnick.
