The former Holiday Retirement Home at 39 Highland St. in West Hartford sold Friday for $2.144 million.
The 42-bed assisted living facility, which closed in 2024, was sold by The Holiday Inc. to CT101 Inc., according to town land records.
The 0.75-acre property includes a three-story, 30,420-square-foot building that was erected in 1967.
The property is located across the street from Bristow Middle School and is adjacent to 29 Highland St., where New York-based development firm Vessel Technologies is seeking to build a 112-unit housing complex on the site of a former health and rehabilitation center.
The continuation of a public hearing on the Vessel application is scheduled for Thursday at 6:15 p.m. in West Hartford Town Hall.
The site of the former assisted living facility at 39 Highland St. is zoned R-10 for residential housing.
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices was the listing agent for the sale.
