A two-story office building along Whitney Avenue in Hamden, a former furniture store, has been sold to owners of a dental practice.
Jatinda Sharma of Sharma Realty LLC bought the 4,600-square-foot space at 2620 Whitney Ave., from Whitney & Elm LLC for $685,000 in an April 7 deal.
The retail center was built in 1982 for the Ricciuti family, longtime owners and operators of the English Furniture Store.
The building is now vacant, having been used most recently as office space.
New owners will operate a dental office there after renovating the space.
