The former president and chief operating officer of Berlin electric utility Connecticut Light & Power has found a new role with a New York City energy management firm.
Raymond Necci, who was CL&P president from 2004-2009, will work as a consultant for New York firm utiliVisor. He will help build the company’s presence in New England while providing marketing expertise.
Necci worked at CL&P’s parent Northeast Utilities and its subsidiaries for 32 years. Since leaving CL&P, he has worked as a consultant and is a member of the board of directors for the Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company.
At CL&P, Necci was replaced by Jeff Butler, who resigned from the post in 2011 after public outrage over two major power outages that year.
