A former bank branch in Mystic that was recently the home of a brew pub has sold for $2.73 million, property records show.
According to a post on Facebook, the property, located 54 West Main St., could soon become the new home of an Italian restaurant called Cucina Al Pantheon.
The 5,988-square-foot building sold on July 24, to 54 WMS LLC, which is controlled by BMPM Holdings LLC.
BMPM is not registered as a business in Connecticut, according to state records.
The seller was Leatherneck Associates LLC, which is controlled by Walter C. Bansley. According to media reports, Bansley was a criminal defense lawyer who turned the property into a brewpub called Bank & Bridge Brewing.
The brewery has permanently closed, according to Google.
A Facebook page for Cucina Al Pantheon says it will be located in the former brewery property and promises to be “Mystic's new Italian gem.”
The property had been home to a Bank of America branch until it closed in 2018.
