PC Floors will open its 10th location next week — in Hartford — marking the wholesale flooring supplier’s third Connecticut store.
The company will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. Feb. 18 at its new 12,000-square-foot showroom and warehouse at 160 Brainard Road.
The building previously housed Connecticut Lighting Centers, which has moved to 312 Murphy Road in Hartford.
In March 2024, D&C Family LLC — a company tied to Connecticut Lighting Centers — sold the 18,920-square-foot retail building to Capital Enterprise of Orange County Inc. in New York for $2.75 million. The buyer’s principal — Solomon Weiss — was listed as the president and owner of PC Hardwood Floors.
Founded in 1979, PC Floors serves flooring professionals, general contractors, builders, designers, architects and homeowners across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. The company’s other Connecticut locations are in Danbury and Waterbury.
The Hartford store will be led by Ron LeVasseur, who has more than 30 years of experience in flooring installation, refinishing and sales.
