Gov. Ned Lamont has reappointed Matt Fleury to a second term as chairman of the Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education (BOR). Fleury has served as BOR chair since 2016 and has been a member of the board since 2011.
Fleury is president and CEO of the Connecticut Science Center in Hartford.
The BOR is the governing body for the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) system, which comprises four state universities, 12 community colleges, and Charter Oak State College.
Fleury is a graduate of Berkshire Community College and Charter Oak State College. He earned an MBA from the UConn School of Business.
