Florida-based AssuredPartners said Wednesday that it has acquired its third Connecticut insurance broker.
The private-equity-backed agency said it acquired Founders Insurance Group, which has offices in Lakeville and Torrington. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal follows Assured’s May acquisition of New Britain’s Jones, Raphael & Oulundsen and its 2013 purchase of a Hartford branch of Preferred Advantage.
Assured said it has acquired more than 100 property-casualty and employee benefit agencies since its founding in 2011.
