A Florida dermatology business has acquired Groton’s Eastern Connecticut Dermatology and said it expects to expand its Connecticut holdings this year.
Integrated Dermatology Group said it’s expanding around the country. It did not disclose which Connecticut dermatologists it expects to join its roster.
Eastern’s Dr. Robert Ecker has joined Integrated as a partner and medical director.
IDG, based in Boca Raton, said it handles administrative and back-office tasks, which allows acquired practices to focus on their core business.
