Matthew Fitzsimmons has joined Hartford law firm Shipman & Goodwin LLP as a partner in the firm’s state attorneys general and data privacy protection practice groups.
Fitzsimmons was most recently Cigna Corp.’s U.S. privacy officer and lead cybersecurity counsel. Prior to that, he was an assistant attorney general at the Connecticut Attorney General’s office, where he worked for seven years.
