A photo taken of Andrea Repko of Norwalk will cover the 2014 Connecticut Angler’s Guide, the first time a contest has determined the coveted position on the magazine.
In the photo, Repko is holding a Northern Pike weighing 16 pounds that was 38 inches long. She caught and released the fish on Sept. 22 in Kent.
The Department of Energy & Environmental Protection puts out the angler’s guide to provide important rules and regulations governing fishing in Connecticut.
The first year of the photo contest garnered submissions from 80 different anglers. The other finalists were Michael Klehm of Darien, Michaela Ruzbasan of Farmington, Lauren Kusinski of Monroe, and Al & Kate Tremblay of Simsbury.
