ConnectiCare’s CliniSanitas Medical Center in Newington celebrates its grand opening tonight at 6 p.m.
The event at 196 Kitts Lane will feature remarks from Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman about the multicultural healthcare facility that will serve the needs of the state’s growing Hispanic communities.
Two other new facilities in Bridgeport and Orange are opening Nov. 28. The centers will offer primary care, specialty care, urgent care, laboratory and diagnostic imaging, as well as health education and wellness services.
All three centers will offer extended evening and weekend hours, with walk-ins welcome. The centers are staffed with medical and administrative staff who are bilingual in English and Spanish.
Michael Wise, ConnectiCare’s president and CEO, said the alliance with CliniSanitas will help ConnectiCare to “deliver on our brand promise to make it easy for our members to get the care they need.”
