The First National Bank of Suffield, which has four area branches, said it has hired Ronald J. Moccio Jr. as senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Moccio succeeds John Tinnirella, who is retiring this month after 18 years with the bank.
Moccio is a certified public accountant who previously worked as an auditor for United Bank and Wolf & Co.
He graduated from the American Bankers Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking in 2013 and has a master’s degree in accounting from Western New England University.

He also volunteers on the finance committee of the Greater Springfield YMCA.
