Firm Collects 7,000 Food Items for Salvation Army

The Salvation Army’s Architects and Engineers Can Challenge invites local architectural and engineering firms to compete by gathering donations of nonperishable food items and cash for Salvation Army food support services. The number of items divided by the number of employees determines the winner. Consulting Engineering Services of Middletown collected more than 7,000 food items for this year’s challenge with an average donation of 135 items per employee. CES holds the record for the largest monetary and food donation of the industry participants and has won the challenge the past four years.
