A growing Michigan company that outfits buildings with fire suppression systems has recently paid $3.17 million for a 40,000-square-foot Bloomfield industrial building.
In a deed recorded March 19, a limited liability company affiliated with Wolverine Fire Protection Co. acquired the 1986-vintage flex industrial building on 6.23 acres at 95 Peters Road. The masonry frame building has concrete walls and 22-foot wall heights.
Daniel Siracusa, of Newington, is principal of the seller, DSJL Properties LLC. He is also principal of New Britain-based Siracusa Moving & Storage Co.
The Wolverine-affiliate that purchased the Bloomfield building – Cork Associates LLC – took a $2.45 million loan on the property, secured with a mortgage, from Michigan-based Oxford Bank.
Wolverine will use the Bloomfield building for its “growing operational needs,” according to O,R&L Commercial, which helped broker the deal. Mark Berkowitz, of O,R&L represented the seller. David Murdock, of Sentry Commercial, represented the buyer.
Wolverine President Martin Corcoran signed the mortgage for Cork.
