Kathleen Ferraro has been hired by UBS Global Wealth Management as the new market director for its Greenwich and Stamford offices.
Financial services veteran Kathleen Ferraro has been hired by UBS Global Wealth Management as the new market director for its Greenwich and Stamford offices. In this role, she will be responsible for leading advisor development, improving client experience and driving strategic growth in these markets.
Farraro has three decades of experience in the financial services industry, most recently serving as branch manager for Morgan Stanley’s Norwell, Massachusetts, office for 15 years. Before that, she held several leadership roles with UBS in the Greenwich and New York metro area.
“We are confident that her vast experience and deep commitment to both advisor excellence and client success make her well-suited to lead in this important market,” said Mara Glassel, market executive for the Greater New York metro market. “Her leadership prowess and advisory expertise solidify her reputation as a driving force in the financial services industry.”
Outside of work, Ferraro supports numerous nonprofit initiatives focused on financial literacy, women’s empowerment, and education, including Invest in Girls and PowerToFly, UBS said. She also supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and participates in charitable events throughout Fairfield County.
UBS manages $6.1 trillion in invested assets as per the fourth quarter of 2024.
