Bloomfield’s Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, a nonprofit that breeds German Shepherd guide dogs, has hired Dr. RuthAnn Solomon as director of veterinary medicine.
Solomon has practiced small animal medicine for the past eight years in Massachusetts, where she earned her degree from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.
She’s also an expert dog breeder and worked for an animal rescue organization.
