Fewer candles, more money

Generation X appears to be growing and coddling nest eggs faster than their parents did when poodle skirts were in, according to a study by Edward Jones. The study shows 68 percent of the workforce between 25 and 34 have already started saving for retirement while only 34 percent of adults over 65 revealed they began saving before they blew out 34 candles.
