As part of the Ferrari Club of America/New England Region’s recent 9th annual Hartford Concorso Ferrari event at the state Capitol, $55,000 was raised for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. The funds will benefit Connecticut Children’s new cardiovascular operating room suite which will enable surgeons to obtain the best possible images of a child’s heart within an efficient and effective environment. Since 2001, the FCA/NER has raised more than $600,000 for Connecticut Children’s. Funds from last year’s Concorso Ferrari benefited the Medical Center’s Neurosurgery Department and its purchase of a new, CereTom portable CT scanner.
