Connecticut transit buses will get new fare boxes and other upgrades paid for with a $10 million federal transit grant, authorities say.
Congressman Joe Courtney announced Thursday the Connecticut Department of Transportation (ConnDOT) got the competitive grant from the Federal Transit Administration.
Eight Connecticut Transit divisions and the Southeast Area Transit district will split the funding, authorities said.
