FASHION RAISES FUNDS FOR MIDSTATE MEDICAL

The Pink Partini Fashion Show, a signature event for MidState Medical Center drew more than 900 people Aqua Turf in Plantville to celebrate survivorship and breast cancer awareness. More than 60 models, including seven courageous cancer survivors, were ushered out by emcee Scot Haney. They dazzled the runway with fashions provided by Modern Formals, The Dressing Room, Red Door Boutique, Ella Where She Shops, and Kimberly Boutique. Firefighters from the Meriden and Wallingford Fire Departments, dressed in pink t-shirts, were on hand to help out. The event raised about $40,000 for the Meriden hospital’s MidState’s Palladino Family Cancer Center. MidState is part of Hartford HealthCare.
