Farmington’s The Bridge collaborating on startup bootcamp program

The Bridge Healing Arts Center in Farmington is hosting its first Well4Tech Bootcamp later this month for startups hoping to learn how to scale their business.

The Bridge announced earlier this year it was collaborating with Arieli Capital, a U.S.-based holdings and investment company, to launch the international Well4Tech Bootcamp for technology startups in the physical therapy and mental health field.

The first group of startups has already been selected for the inaugural bootcamp, which will take place at The Bridge in Farmington from May 23-26. The group of market-ready startups will work on advancing potential deals with relevant brands, customers and investors, according to Arieli Capital.

“We can already see the impact of the program’s strategic location, Hartford, CT, home for world leading health and insurance brands as it attracts entrepreneurs and investors from around the world,” Arieli Capital Partner and Head of Global Ventures Or Haviv said when announcing the program. “We believe that Well4tech will soon become a world leading hub for wellness technology companies creating a vibrant ecosystem, generating new employment opportunities and acting as a social and economic growth engine for the region.”

According to information from Well4Tech’s website, startup companies selected for the bootcamp program will participate in meetings with investors and industry leaders and be able to present to them at a pitch event. There will also be investment and tax credit opportunities during the bootcamp, and companies will be offered office space for up to one year as part of the program

Further, selected startups will receive “in-kind business development services and investment” of up to $250,000, organizers said.

Arieli Capital is a holding and investment firm with offices in New York and Tel Aviv.
