Farmington’s Recruiter.com said it has raised more than $350,000 from a group of angel investors.
The round was led by investor Thomas Zipp, former CEO of Bristol’s MDF Systems and former treasurer of Farmington’s Smith Gates Corp. As a result of the round, Zipp was appointed to the company’s board of directors.
Private investors in Hartford, Providence and Chicago also pitched in capital, according to the company, which was founded in 2010 and claims 150 clients.
Recruiter.com said it also formed a leadership advisory board and appointed two members: Douglas Roth, director for venture investments at Connecticut Innovations, and David Wieland, CEO of a Chicago company that makes a digital interviewing platform.
