Allies Medical Group is opening a medical facility in Farmington.
The walk-in medical clinic at 2 Bridgewater Rd., is scheduled to open in May and will provide acute medical care for illnesses that are not severe enough for a visit to the emergency room but can’t wait for a personal physician appointment.
That includes services for minor traumatic injuries such as cuts, bruises, strains, sprains and burns and minor surgical procedures such as draining of an abscess or removal of a splinter.
In addition, the center will also provide medical services for the local employers such as treatment of acute injuries at work and drug screens.
