Farmington’s Innovative Computer Systems Inc. said it has acquired Massachusetts IT consulting firm 3DCIO LLC.
Along with the deal, ICS has moved the three-person 3DCIO team from Andover into a new office in Waltham, Mass.
ICS, which now has 40 consultants, said the acquisition adds new capabilities and fits with its goal of becoming the leading integrator in the Northeast for Microsoft Systems products.
ICS is a member of both Microsoft’s and IBM’s partner networks. 3DCIO also consults on Microsoft software for enterprise uses.
