Farmington health care analytics firm Evariant is one of two Connecticut companies included in Deloitte’s 2017 Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the fastest-growing tech firms in North America.
Ranked 332, a drop from last year’s ranking of 239, Evariant grew revenues 241 percent during the period assessed by Deloitte, which runs from fiscal years 2013 through 2016, said Evariant CEO Clay Ritchey. This is the third year Evariant has been included, he said.
He attributed the success to employees’ commitment to drive innovation.
The other Connecticut company to make the list is etouches of Norwalk, which was ranked 461st.
Overall, this year’s 500 ranked companies achieved revenue growth ranging from 135 percent to 59,093 percent from 2013 to 2016, with median growth of 380 percent.
West Coast firms dominated the ranking, with Kirkland, Wash., communications company Donuts Inc. taking first place. Software companies ClassPass Inc. of New York City and Toast of Boston took second and third place, respectively.
