Farmington environmental engineering firm HRP Associates Inc. says it has promoted two of its longtime employees to the roles of chief executive and president/chief operations officer.
HRP on Tuesday named Daniel D. Titus CEO and Tad A. Goetcheus as president and chief operations officer. The executives will begin their new posts Jan. 2 at HRP’s Farmington headquarters at 197 Scott Swamp Road.
Titus and Goetcheus will assume the duties of three current executives who have spent 30 years at the firm and will be retiring at year-end: CEO L. Andrew White; Richard D. McFee, chief financial officer; and Howard S. Hurd, chief operating officer.
Titus, who has over 20 years experience in environmental consulting, was promoted to chief executive from his most recent position as executive vice president for strategic development. His duties as CEO include leading HRP’s business strategy to generate revenue and geographic growth, the firm said.
Goetcheus most recently served as HRP’s executive vice president of operations development. He specializes in areas of environmental, health and safety compliance and has more than 30 years experience as an environmental engineering and risk management consultant.
Goetcheus will be tasked with leading HRP’s board of directors, the firm’s strategic planning, quality control, human resources, business development and staff growth.
Founded in 1982, the firm serves industrial, government and private sector clients. Projects include brownfield redevelopments, site contamination investigations, remediation, risk management and other services.
HRP has regional offices in Farmington, Stratford, New York, South Carolina, Florida and Missouri. The firm has 78 Connecticut workers and another 48 out-of-state employees.
