FARMINGTON BANK FUNDS IPAD PURCHASE FOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Farmington Bank recently funded the purchase of an iPad for the East Farmington Fire Department, making the department one of the first in Connecticut to incorporate iPads into emergency responses. iPad and tablet technology puts maps, data, resources, reference guides, forms, email and more into the hands of firefighters and incident commanders, potentially improving efficiency, safety and knowledge. Pictured are, from left, Mary-Ellen Harper, Town of Farmington Fire Department director of fire and rescue services; Russell Nelson, East Farmington Fire Department chief; Ken Burns, Farmington Bank executive vice president, retail banking; Shawn Curtis, East Farmington Fire Department lieutenant; and John J. Patrick, Jr., Farmington Bank chairman, president and CEO.
