Farmington Bank opened Wednesday a new mortgage-loan office in Branford.
The office at 28 School St. is staffed with three veteran New Haven area mortgage lenders: Ed Vescovi, assistant vice president, residential sales manager and office chief; and loan specialists Patricia DeStefano and Larry Bye.
Based in Farmington, the community lender has 24 branches/loan offices throughout central Connecticut and western Massachusetts.
The bank says a pair of branches in Vernon and Manchester are set to open in 2016.
