Financial technology companies will soon have another pool of experts to hire from with the recent launch of a fintech master’s program at Fairfield University, which was announced by school officials recently.
Fairfield University’s new master’s of science in financial technology is based out of the college’s Charles F. Dolan School of Business and will be available to students beginning this fall semester. The program can be completed both fully online or in a hybrid format, according to the university, and takes between nine to 24 months to complete.

University officials said the new program is ideal for recent graduates and existing industry professionals and senior executives who want to learn about financial data modeling, algorithmic trading, and cloud-based, data-driven financial technologies, and management coursework.
