Fairfield residential property sells for $1.65M

A four-unit townhouse at 100 Castle Ave. in Fairfield sold recently for $1.65 million.

Senior Associates Jeff Wright and Rich Edwards of the Shelton-based Northeast Private Client Group represented the seller and procured the buyer in the transaction.

Catalina Buffalo Holdings of Avon bought the property, which features 11,081 square feet of space.

Built in 2007, the units all feature hardwood floors, updated kitchens and granite counters.  Each unit also has three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a two-car garage.

According to Wright, the new owner is planning upgrades, including addressing deferred maintenance and modernizing the units.

“With these upgrades, we expect this building will perform very well for the new owners,” Wright said, in an announcement.

The seller, Yadda Development LLC, had owned the property, appraised by the town at $1.3 million, since 2005, town records show.
