Publishers Branford-based Choice Media LLC and Davler Media Group LLC have agreed to merge Fairfield Parent Magazine into the Connecticut Parent Magazine brand beginning with the Jan. 2017 issue.
Choice Media publishes Connecticut Parent and Fairfleld County Parent magazines. Davler publishes NYMetroParents publications, which include Fairfield Parent Magazine.
The two publishers have agreed to collaborate indefinitely, with Choice Media managing all operations.
Joel MacClaren, owner of Choice Media said the new partnership will lead to an upgraded, all-glossy format, while continuing a commitment to high-quality content.
David L. Miller of Davler believes readers will be better served by the combination.
“Connecticut Parent is the logical successor since they cover a larger market and have been here longer,” Miller said.
