Cornerstone Medical Training Center signed a five-year lease, with renewal options, for 6,550 square feet on the main floor of a three-story office Stratford building at 999 Oronoque Lane, according to Westport-based brokerage Vidal/Wettenstein.
The school previously occupied a 1,488-square-foot, one-story office building at 685-689 Kings Highway East in Fairfield, according to property records and the company’s website.
Cornerstone Medical Training Center is a postsecondary health care training school that prepares students for entry into the medical workforce. Founded and led by Peggy Colas, the school offers certification programs for certified nursing assistants, patient care technicians, pharmacy technicians and phlebotomists.
It also provides training in EKGs, medical billing and coding, and medical assisting.
Scott Cranston of EAC Properties represented Cornerstone in the lease deal. Bruce Wettenstein, managing partner of Vidal/Wettenstein, represented the landlord, 999 Oronoque Lane LLC, which is controlled by Robert, Catherine and Martin Sbriglio of Stratford.
