National education reform expert Pedro Noguera spoke to more than 400 people at a community-wide forum focused on efforts to enhance children’s opportunities for success and narrow the achievement gap. His topic was “Who is Responsible for Children’s Success?” Noguera is the Peter L. Agnew Professor of Education at New York University, executive director of the Metropolitan Center for Urban Education, and co-director of the Institute for The Study of Globalization and Education in Metropolitan Settings.
